In the wake of some genuinely unhinged behavior and some truly shocking election results, the Republican National Committee (RNC) is out with a new add attacking “unhinged” Democrats like Tennessee’s own Phil Bredesen.
The Republican National Committee (RNC) released a brutal campaign ad on Tuesday attacking the political Left ahead of the 2018 midterms, highlighting their extreme rhetoric and actions.
The full ad can be seen below.
The ad comes after Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) called for the harassment of members of the Trump administration on Saturday. Various members of the Trump administration have already been targeted in recent days including White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell.
The ad highlights multiple well-publicized instances of those on the political Left advocating for extreme action in response to the Trump administration, including Madonna saying she has thought about blowing up the White House, Snoop Dogg shooting the president in a music video, Bill Maher saying he hopes the economy crashes so it hurts Trump, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi saying she doesn’t know why there aren’t uprisings “all over the country,” and Waters’ extreme speech where she called for the harassment of Trump cabinet members.
Add in another Democrat, an “F-Bomb”-Shouting Intern Sen. Hassan’s Keeping On The Job” after shouting at President Trump and you’re still not done.
Last week, an unknown person shouted “Mr. President, F—you!” in the halls of the Capitol building. Yesterday, we found out that person is Sen. Maggie Hassan’s intern.
Today, she’s still on the job.
The profane outburst that inspired a Capitol police investigation is 21-year-old Caitlin Marriott, who is interning in the office of Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH). According to multiple media reports, the Keene State (Class of ’19) student yelled out the profanity as President Trump arrived at the office of House Speaker Paul D. Ryan for talks on a proposed immigration compromise. Marriott “then raced from where she had been, standing with a group of interns, forcing Capitol Police to put out a ‘be on the lookout alert’ and having to find her to determine that she was no threat to the president,” according to the Washington Times.
Now that she has been identified, she will not be fired. Instead, Sen. Hassan has suspended Marriott from her position for a week.
Recently, a Democrat volunteer threatened to kill Army veteran and GOP Rep. Brian Mast’s children over immigration.
Laurence Wayne Key, a volunteer for the Democratic Party of Martin County, Florida, has been arrested after he allegedly made a call to Rep. Brian Mast’s (R-Fla.) Washington, D.C., office and threatened to kill his kids over the situation at the border.
WPTV reported Key made his comments to the intern who answered the phone.
“I’m going to find the congressman’s kids and kill them,” Key said. “If you’re going to separate kids at the border, I’m going to kill his kids. Don’t try to find me because you won’t.”
Key was found and arrested shortly after the intern reported the call to their supervisor, who then notified the FBI.
And last night, a once powerful Democrat with a chance to be their next House leader, replacing Nancy Pelosi, losy his primary to a 28 year-old card carrying socialist whose political views are well beyond what anyone would call mainstream. Like it, or not, this is the party of Phil Bredesen now and these are all people he would help empower if elected to represent Tennessee in the U.S. Senate next year.
Meet Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. She supports Medicare-for-all, housing and jobs guarantees, gun control, ending private prisons, abolishing ICE, and investment in post-hurricane Puerto Rico. https://t.co/ap8zLTecMD
